Launch For A Buck ยท Just the how

Too many tools. AI that spits out generic fluff. No idea where to start.

Your side project, live by Sunday night.

Launch your side project this weekend. Every tool, the best deal, the prompts.

Get it for $1, tax included

One-time payment. No subscription. Any sales tax is included in the $1.

Why $1? Some tool links pay us. Here's how it works.

  1. Fri 7 pmPitch, name, starter block
  2. SatBuild it
  3. Sun 1 pmGo live

Sound familiar?

Too many tools.

You don't know which one to start with. Every app wants $10 here and $20 there. Some do the same job. Some renew before you notice.

You don't know what to type.

You ask AI for help. You get the same 10 tips you've seen a hundred times. Or a post that sounds like a robot wrote it.

You paid for hype.

You spent hundreds on a course. You got generic videos you could find free on YouTube. Then came huge prompt packs that don't work.

It never gets done.

You start. You pick a name. You even buy the domain. Then it stalls, and the idea goes back in your notes app. Your day job eats the rest.

It's not you. Most advice tells you what to do. Nobody shows you how. This is the how.

The Prompt Vault

"That's not a prompt. That's a wish." Here's what to type instead.

Try one now. These are 3 of the 111 prompts in the vault, with the output that comes with each.

P-10 Build your starter block

Example fill-in

Skillet Notes; free weekly email with one easy weeknight dinner for people new to cooking; written by a former diner line cook, real kitchen stories; voice = calm, funny, short; never say = "yummy," "foodie," "journey"; facts = sent Fridays, free, 3-minute read

Example output, edited to match the prompt

About my project: Skillet Notes, a free weekly email with one easy weeknight dinner.
Who it's for: people new to cooking who feel in over their heads.
What's different: written by a former diner line cook, with real stories from real kitchens.
My voice: calm, funny, short.
Never say: "yummy," "foodie," "journey."
Facts to use: sent every Friday, free, about a 3-minute read.
See the prompt
Help me write a short "starter block" about my project that I can paste at the top of any AI chat. Ask me these one at a time: project name and what it is, who it's for, what makes it different, my voice in 3 words, words I never want to see, and key facts (prices, sizes, dates). Then combine my answers into one block under 90 words, labeled: About my project, Who it's for, What's different, My voice, Never say, Facts to use.

P-12 Make it sound human

Example fill-in

"Elevate your space with our luxurious hand-poured candles. Embark on a sensory journey and unlock a seamless sense of calm. Look no further!"

Sample output

These candles are hand-poured. They make your space feel calm and cozy. Light one when you get home and let the day slow down.
See the prompt
Rewrite the text below so it sounds like a real person texting a friend. Short sentences. Plain words. Keep every fact, and don't add any new facts. Remove these words and any form of them (like "luxury" for "luxurious"): unlock, elevate, seamless, journey, delve, game-changer, luxurious, embark, look no further. Don't swap in other fancy or salesy words. No exclamation points. Text: [paste text]

P-19 Privacy scrub before you paste

Example fill-in

"Hi, this is Maria Lopez, order #4471. My candle arrived cracked. Ship a new one to 22 Oak St, Apt 4. Call 555-0148 or maria.l@example.com."

Sample output

"Hi, this is [CUSTOMER], order [ORDER]. My candle arrived cracked. Ship a new one to [ADDRESS]. Call [PHONE] or [EMAIL]."
See the prompt
Before I paste this into an AI chat, help me remove private info. Replace every person's name with [CUSTOMER], every email with [EMAIL], every phone number with [PHONE], every street address with [ADDRESS], and every order number with [ORDER]. Change nothing else. Text: [paste text]

The projects are made-up examples. Your output will differ. You're the editor.

Done for you

7 fill-in files, ready to edit

Editable Word/Google Docs and spreadsheet versions too.

When it goes sideways

Fixes for the 10 most common snags

1"My AI copy sounds like a robot."

Fix: Paste your starter block first, ban your cheesy words, and read every draft out loud. To clean up a draft you already have, run P-12 or P-13.

2"It gives me the same generic tips everyone has seen."

Fix: Give it your facts and your reader. Ask it to question you first with P-11. When you want honest feedback, ask it to act as a blunt friend with P-02.

3"It made up facts."

Fix: Never ask AI for facts you'll publish. Have it mark gaps with P-72 instead of filling them, then run the fact check (P-14).

4"The math is wrong."

Fix: Do prices and costs in File E, where the formulas do the math. Use AI for words, not totals.

5"My logo or graphic has misspelled words."

Fix: Let AI suggest layouts with P-105, but type every word yourself in the design tool.

6"It forgets what I told it."

Fix: Keep your starter block in your notes app and paste it at the top of every chat. When a chat gets long, start a fresh one with the block.

7"I hit the usage limit."

Fix: Do one task per chat and keep your prompts short. If you hit the cap, open a different free AI app, paste your starter block, and keep going. You don't need two paid AI plans to launch.

8"There are too many tools, and I don't know where to start."

Fix: Use one tool per job. Your plan names each one at its step, and nothing else is needed this weekend.

9"The costs keep creeping up."

Fix: Before you sign up, write down today's, month 4, and 12-month costs (P-07). Set trial reminders with P-09. In week 2, do the App Check in File D.

10"Fixing the AI's work takes longer than doing it myself."

Fix: Give each draft two tries. If it's still wrong after two clear notes, write it yourself with the AI's outline as a guide. Use AI where it's fast: first drafts, lists, and rewrites.

Friday night vs. Sunday night

Friday, 7 pm

  • An idea in your notes app.
  • Tabs open, comparing tools and prices.
  • AI drafts that sound like a robot.
  • No plan for the weekend.

Sunday night

  • Your site, shop, or sign-up page is live.
  • Homepage copy, written from a fill-in template.
  • 5 welcome emails as fill-in templates, with newsletter, shop and site versions.
  • A 30-day post plan, with your first 7 days picked.
  • A form that works. On a shop or site, a test order or payment that went through.
  • 20 people who heard about it from you.

What it won't do: promise you'll make money. Nobody honest can.

Questions

Why $1?

We only list tools we'd point a friend to. We tell you which deals anyone can get and which are only through our link. You can skip every link and still use the whole guide.

Is it just affiliate links?

No. Some links are affiliate links, and we tell you which ones. Two deals are public offers that pay us nothing. For your site builder, post scheduler, and AI chat, we name a free option with no link at all. Skip every link and the guide still works.

I'm not technical. Can I do this?

Yes. It's made for your phone, in plain English. Page 1 is a 10-minute win. The full setup is planned for one weekend. Screen maps show you what each tool's screen looks like before you open it.

Aren't prompt packs junk?

Agreed. This isn't 10,000 prompts. It's 111 prompts, and they're one part of a kit that also picks your tools and finds the deals. They're grouped by the job you're doing, each with fill-in blanks and an example of what you'll get. We cut the weak ones.

I can't afford more subscriptions.

Start on free plans. The guide shows the free path first and the paid upgrade only when you need it, plus a 15-minute app check to cut what you don't use.

Won't AI just make stuff up?

The guide shows you how to give AI your real facts, ban the cheesy words, and do a 30-second fact check. You stay the editor.

What if it's not useful?

Not useful? Email us within 30 days for your $1 back, no questions asked.

Is sales tax included?

Yes. It's $1, tax included. Any sales tax comes out of the $1, so you pay $1.

Start Friday at 7 pm. Be live by Sunday night.

Everyone asks yeah, but HOW? This is the how. Step by step. It's one f*cking dollar.

Get it for $1, tax included

One-time payment. No subscription. Any sales tax is included in the $1. Checkout asks for your email, your payment details and your location (for sales tax).
